Agility April Trials

AGILITY: VIEW & DOWNLOAD PREMIUM LIST

COVID WAIVER

The club will be purchasing the agility gate app for our April trials. The trial chair, Janice Johnson, chief ring steward, Carol Brownrigg, and I had a zoom meeting with Roger Ly of Agility Gate App and he talked us through it and we cleared up many questions. This will avoid paper and pen at the gate and congregating around the gate. Exhibitors will receive a code from me and they can check in on their phone or iPad devices. Agility exhibitors have become adapted to this so won’t be a problem for those exhibitors and then the gate steward will have an iPad linked to the running order and the gate steward will mark exhibitors off as they enter the ring. This will allow exhibitors to see where they are in the line-up and again not congregating around the ring. Makes it easy for exhibitors to crate in their RVs, etc. The cost is $100 for the entire weekend.’

Need club volunteers for the upcoming agility trial April 16-18 in Berryville. Come for one day, 1/2 day, or more. The club will be doing two $25 cash drawings at the end of each for the volunteers plus food truck coupons. The sign-up sheet can be found on the kennel club website under the agility information. Also will need help loading and unloading. Unloading Thursday afternoon and loading Sunday late afternoon. I am going to contact the fair manager and sheriff’s department to see if they have some boys that might help or inmates. I realize it is a distance to go, but it is so much fun. I am staying in Eureka Springs in a motel and can stay with me if need an extra night. https://tinyurl.com/NAKC-workers-April-21

Also, I think we may have a group of students from the junior fair board and the agri group from Berryville High School who may be able to help on Saturday and Sunday. Waiting for the final confirmation. The club will give their organizations a donation for working.
